It’s no secret that the Philippines has been underachieving in terms of agricultural output, reforms and over-all productivity and our Asian neighbors have been overtaking us for many years now.Worst, 1 of 2 farmers and about 1/3 of the entire country’s population is living below the poverty line as a result of our rapid population growth rate and the insufficient resources tosupport the population, particularly in the rice sector. Not only that we have no capacity to supply our own local requirements, thus, making us one of the largest importers of the staple product, but we also have one of the highest rice prices among the Asean countries.
OUR GOALS | MISSION & VISION
1. To make deliberate and genuine agricultural legislations and programs for a sustainable agricultural progress that will significantly reduce, if not eliminate, the alarming poverty in our society.
2. Ensuring food in every table of all our Filipino brothers and sisters through a revitalized agricultural sector being the biggest source of employment opportunities in the country.
What they say about AANI...
But if there is one legitimate party-list group that deserves representation in Congress is Ang Agrikultura Natin, Isulong (AANI). This organization has been existing for the past 10 years and is composed of real farmers from Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. It is only now that it is trying its luck to get a seat in Congress. AANI is listed as No. 19 in the official Comelec ballots.

What is AANI?
AANI (Ang Agrikultura Natin ay Isulong) is a party list in pursuit of increased government interventions in the ailing agricultural industry through appropriate legislations and congressional programs.
AANI, formerly the Kapatiran Para sa Kaunlaran sa Kanayunan (KPKK) organized in 2003, is serving the marginalized farmers for over a decade now.
AANI believes that our government must improve and support our agricultural sector in order to achieve our country’s economic prosperity and stability.
